 This royal blue maxi skirt is made of a stretch jersey knit material that is super comfy and stretchy. All skirts are surged for a professional finish and pre-washed. This skirts length can be any where from mid calf to ankle depending on the little girl. Remember, skirts are stretchy so this is the un-stretched measurements. I am so excited to say that our etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/inspiredbytess is up and running! Yeah!!! I know there is not many items listed at this time but over here in Idaho mother nature has not been kind to me! We are talking snow, rain and cold. Who could make sweet baby Tess go outside to model these fabulous skirts? Not me! I did mange a few hours of sunshine yesterday and warmth, when I say warmth I mean like 40'. And of course Tess just wanted to crawl all over the ground and not stand up like a good little girl. That was until I turned on a little Boston for her to dance to and thats when the real party started! Here's a little sneak peek at another fabric in our spring line and one of the current skirts up for sale on etsy. How it all began...

Welcome to Inspired by Tess! It all started when I finally had a baby girl after having 5 boys. She brought such happiness into our family the day she was born! I grew up sewing with my mother who is a master seamstress. What a gift she shared with me! From the first days of having a little girl in my arms I would sit and imagine all the fun things I could sew for her. The first thing I sewed for her {other than her sweet baby bedding} was a little dress cut from a pattern I made on the local Sprouts add. And the sewing frenzy began!
